About Windance (Gulfport, MS)
The Mark McCumber design at Windance has been considered one of the Gulf Coast's finest courses since it opened back in 1986. Through the years, Windance has played host to professional events for the Ben Hogan Tour and the Nike Tour as well as many amateur events such as the Mississippi Men's Amateur and the PGA Gulf States Championship. Like the great players who participated in these events, you'll be tested by tight fairways and well-protected greens. In particular, watch out for the 549-yard, par-five 7th hole. It's a total risk/reward hole with a green that only the long hitters should go for. Come see for yourself why Windance is known as "the gem of the Mississippi Gulf Coast."

Another great course. Probably the most scenic and beautiful of those played. Tough course though. Practice range was closed because of rain which was no fault of the course. Starter was very informative and very friendly. Probably could have used a ranger to keep pace on course. The threesome in front of us was pretty slow and were not keeping up with the golfers ahead of them. Overall very good experience.
