STARR PASS CC-COYOTE/ROADRUNNER

About Starr Pass CC-Coyote/Roadrunner (Tucson, AZ)

The Coyote/Roadrunner combination starts you on a journey through a very serene area of the golf course. You will quite likely see more wildlife on this stretch of holes including jackrabbits, quails or possibly even a local family of deer. The signature hole on the Coyote nine is the par-4 sixth hole, which features a large outcropping of natural rock in the landing area requiring the risk/reward decision of playing short of it or hitting it big to clear it and leave a much shorter approach to the green. When you turn to the Roadrunner you will enjoy unsurpassed views of the entire facility. With dramatic elevation changes and the swirling winds created by the Tucson Mountains, these nine holes will truly test players of all levels despite its shorter length. Hole #3 offers an amazing view of the resort, city and surrounding mountains; however, be alert, this Par 3 plays severely downhill. You would be well advised to select your club very carefully.
